How to read it
- Green: the crossing is running normally, according to the state ferry department's system.
- Yellow: take care. A long wait, an operator notice about the weather, or strong wind in the channel. In strong wind the crossing may be suspended; the wind reading is our estimate, not the operator's decision.
- Red: the operator shows the crossing suspended or with no boats.
